Beginning quilters would do well to focus on solid fabric quilt tops as these afford a much less complex challenge while you are developing your quilting skills.  Printed fabrics tend to obscure the quilting pattern in all the busyness.  When you are just learning to quilt, it is much more enjoyable if you can see clearly the stencil pattern and concentrate on making your stitches consistent.  While it is true that a printed fabric will virtually hide your stitches while you are learning the craft, they add a level of difficulty if you are hoping to perfect your stitches.

Tops may be purchased separately or we can supply some or all of the component parts: Kits include unbonded polyester batting (cotton, wool, or bonded polyester batting may be substituted for an additional charge),  backing fabric and even marking can be done for you.  When your "Kit" arrives, all you have to do is put it in your frame and begin the quilting.

All quilt tops presented on these page are one of a kind.  We are marking those that have previously sold to help in making your selection.  If you have found the perfect top for your purposes, but the "sold sign" is displayed with that item, we can make a similar top in your color and size requirements.   Custom made quilt tops require a four to six week turn around time.
